No country in the world currently recognizes AI as a licensed attorney. AI-generated text — even excellent text — has no legal force on its own. For your document to be legally binding or compliant, a licensed human attorney must review and approve it. That’s the gap VibeLawyers exists to close.

Are you a law firm?

No. VibeLawyers is a platform that connects you with independent licensed attorneys. We are not a law firm, do not employ attorneys, and do not provide legal advice ourselves. Each attorney on our platform is independent — they hold the license, the insurance, and the professional responsibility for their reviews.

Can I sue VibeLawyers if something goes wrong with my document?

Your legal relationship is with the attorney who reviewed your document — they carry professional liability insurance and are accountable for their work. VibeLawyers is the platform that facilitated the connection. We provide service-level guarantees (turnaround, refund policy) but legal accountability for the document review itself rests with the attorney.

What jurisdictions do you support?

Our attorneys serve clients across Israel, the EU, the UK, and the US. When you submit a document, you specify the jurisdictions where you’ll operate, and we match you with attorneys qualified in those jurisdictions. For multi-jurisdictional needs, we can route your document to a lawyer with cross-border experience or split the review across specialists.

Why are you so much cheaper than a traditional law firm?

Two reasons. First, our AI does the preparation work — scanning for common issues, building checklists — so the lawyer focuses on judgment instead of basic checks. A 30-minute review at our pricing equals what a firm would charge 3 hours for. Second, we don’t carry firm overhead. Independent attorneys, no partners, no offices.

Do I pay before or after the review?

You pay at checkout, but the funds are held in escrow until the attorney delivers. If they fail to deliver within the agreed turnaround, you get an automatic refund. If you’re not satisfied with the review, you can request revisions (included) or escalate within 7 days.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit and debit cards through Stripe. We accept all major cards internationally. For larger Compliance Pro subscriptions, we can arrange invoice payment.

Is there a refund if I’m unhappy?

Yes. If the attorney misses the turnaround, you get a full automatic refund. If the review quality is below expectations, request a revision (included in Standard and Premium tiers). If we can’t resolve it through revision, you can escalate to our support team within 7 days for a prorated or full refund.

Are prices the same for everyone?

Each lawyer sets their own prices. The tiers we show (₪180 / ₪550 / ₪1,500) are typical ranges. View any lawyer’s profile to see their exact prices. Premium-tier lawyers may charge slightly more for their experience; newer lawyers may offer lower introductory prices.

Do you charge VAT / sales tax?

Prices displayed are pre-tax. VAT (EU and Israel) or sales tax (US, where applicable) is added at checkout based on your billing location.

How long does a review actually take?

It depends on the document and the attorney handling it. Each lawyer sets their own turnaround commitment on their profile — you can see it before you book. You’ll get a notification the moment your attorney finishes the review.

What document formats do you accept?

PDF, Word (.docx), plain text, markdown, and HTML. You can also paste content directly. We do not yet support scanned image-only PDFs — the document must contain extractable text.

What does the AI actually do?

Before your attorney touches the document, our AI scans it for common issues — missing GDPR clauses, undefined liability terms, conflicting language, missing US state-specific requirements. The AI flags potential issues; the attorney decides which are real, which need correction, and which to dismiss. The AI never makes legal decisions.

What do I get at the end?

Three things: (1) your final document, marked up with the attorney’s comments and digitally signed, (2) a public verification URL anyone can use to confirm authenticity, and (3) the attorney’s written opinion explaining what they reviewed and any notes on your document.

Can I share the certificate publicly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every approved document gets a public verification URL like vibelawyers.com/verify/abc123. Share it with investors, app store reviewers, regulators, or include it in your privacy policy footer. The URL stays valid forever and confirms the attorney’s bar credentials, review date, and document authenticity.

What if I need a revision?

Standard Review tier includes 1 revision; Premium includes 2. Additional revisions are billed at the attorney’s revision rate (usually half the original price). The attorney will tell you upfront if your document needs more than what’s included.

How do you vet your attorneys?

Every attorney is bar-verified — we check their license number against the official bar association registry. We also verify their professional liability insurance is current. Beyond credentials, we review their professional background and specializations. Currently attorneys are admitted by application only as we grow our network.

I’m a lawyer. Can I join the platform?

Yes. We’re actively building our attorney network. Apply at /for-lawyers — we review applications within 5 business days. Currently we’re prioritizing attorneys experienced in tech, SaaS, privacy, contracts, and IP — but we accept generalists too.

How much do attorneys earn?

Accepted Answer

Attorneys keep 80% of every fee. Lawyers set their own prices and availability. Payouts via Stripe. No billable hours, no chasing invoices.

Do I lose my professional independence by joining?

Accepted Answer

No. You set your own prices, your own services, your own hours. You choose which requests to accept. VibeLawyers is the platform that connects you with clients — you remain the independent attorney responsible for your reviews.

What happens to my document after the review?

Your document and the attorney’s review are stored securely in our platform for your reference. We use industry-standard encryption (AES-256 at rest, TLS in transit). We never share your document outside the attorney who reviewed it without your explicit consent.

Does VibeLawyers learn from my documents to train AI?

We may use anonymized insights from documents to improve our AI co-pilot tools — specifically, patterns of common issues across many documents. Your original document and identifying information are never shared, sold, or used to train external AI models. You can review our full data usage terms in our Privacy Policy.

What if my document contains confidential information?

Your document is treated with the same confidentiality as if you walked into the attorney’s office. The attorney is bound by professional secrecy obligations (attorney-client privilege where applicable). Our platform staff cannot access document contents — only the assigned attorney can.

How do you prevent fraud?

All attorneys are bar-verified before joining. All payments flow through Stripe with full anti-fraud protections. Documents are cryptographically hashed so any tampering after attorney signature is detectable. Certificate URLs are tied to specific document hashes — if the document changes, the certificate no longer validates.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Email hello@vibelawyers.co to request data deletion. We’ll remove your account and documents within 30 days. Note: documents already delivered with attorney signatures may need to be retained per legal record-keeping requirements (typically 7 years), but they’re sealed and not accessible.
