1. The Platform
VibeLawyers is a marketplace that connects independent users (founders, businesses, individuals) with independent licensed attorneys. VibeLawyers is not a law firm. We do not employ attorneys, we do not provide legal advice, and we do not draft, review, or sign legal documents ourselves. All legal services on this platform are provided by independent licensed attorneys, who are solely responsible for the quality, content, and professional standards of their work.
2. Attorney-Client Relationship
The attorney-client relationship is between you and the licensed attorney who reviews your document. VibeLawyers facilitates the connection and provides infrastructure (document handling, payments, certificates), but is not a party to the attorney-client relationship. The attorney bears full professional responsibility, holds professional liability insurance, and is governed by the ethical rules of their licensing jurisdiction.
3. AI as a Preparation Tool
Our platform uses artificial intelligence as a preparation tool that scans documents for common patterns, flags potential issues, and prepares notes to assist the reviewing attorney. The AI never makes legal decisions. The licensed attorney independently evaluates each finding and is the sole legal authority on the review. By using the platform, you consent to this preparation step.
4. No Legal Advice
VibeLawyers does not provide legal advice. The AI analysis, document templates, FAQs, and any platform-generated content are for informational and preparation purposes only. Only the licensed attorney’s signed review constitutes a legal service. Nothing on the platform should be relied upon as a substitute for personal legal advice from a qualified attorney.
5. Payments and Refunds
Service fees are paid in advance and held in escrow until the attorney completes the review. Upon completion, the attorney receives 80% of the service fee and VibeLawyers retains 20% as a platform fee. Refunds are available if the attorney fails to deliver within the agreed turnaround or if the review is materially deficient. Disputes are resolved through our standard process.
6. Your Content
You retain all rights to documents and information you upload. You grant VibeLawyers and the reviewing attorney a limited license to view, store, and process your documents solely for the purpose of providing the review service. We do not use your documents to train AI models or for any purpose beyond delivering the service you requested.
7. Limitation of Liability
VibeLawyers’s liability is limited to the platform fees you have paid in the 12 months preceding any claim. Legal accountability for the attorney’s review and signature rests with the attorney, who carries professional liability insurance. VibeLawyers is not liable for any legal consequences arising from the use of documents reviewed on the platform.
